We'll tell you as soon as tickets go on sale:

Originally created to mark the 100th anniversary of Stravinsky’s masterpieceThe Rite of Spring, this “glorious” (The Independent) and unique double bill returns to Sadler’s Wells.

The two halves of Associate Artist Michael Keegan-Dolan’s thrilling programme are a contrast in light and dark that mirrors Stravinsky’s epic score. The imagery in his “inspired” (The Times) The Rite of Spring is dark, shocking, violent and sexual, as the rhythmic elements of the music are played out in scenes of a pagan fertility rite, as age is sacrificed and mother earth is worshipped. By contrast Petrushka is white, bright and light, with elements of folk dances and warmer days conjured, as the company dance to achieve transcendence.

**** "There's no doubting the spell of Keegan-Dolan's imagination" The Guardian

Performed by an international cast of 13, both pieces together create an intoxicating evening of dance theatre that honours the searing modernity ofStravinsky’s music. Both pieces in this thrilling double bill will be accompanied by the celebrated concert pianists Lidija and Sanja Bizjak.
